Fair Admission & Hours

  

Adults: $4.00
Children ages 9-12: $2.00
Children 8 and under Free
Admission is free before 3:00 PM  Monday through Thursday
Parking on the Fairgrounds is $4.00
Parking and Shuttle are FREE at Crown Point High School
The gates open at 9:00  AM
Exhibit buildings open at 10:00 AM,
Industrial Building opens at 10:00 a.m. everyday except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - when it opens at 12 Noon
Carnival rides start at 12:00 Noon

 

 

Lake County Fair Online Coloring Contest

The rules:  Click on the picture under your age group to download your picture.  Print it and color it and mail it to the Lake County Fair, PO Box 327, Crown Point, Indiana 46308.  pictures must be received befor the end of the month to be in the contest for that month.

The coloring contest will begin again on May 1st.

Age 5 & under         Age 6 to 8           Age 9 to 11      

Click on the picture under your age group, download and print it.  After you color it, send it to the Lake County Fair, PO Box 327, Crown Point, IN 46308.  Three winners will be chosen, one for each month, May, June, July and the winners will receive some great prizes at the fair.

Age 5 and Under               Age 6 to 8            Age 9-11

                            Winners for each month will be posted on this page!                                  

Be sure to put your name and phone number on the pictures.  Mail your finished picture to: Lake County Fair, PO Box 327, Crown Point, IN 46308

Winning entries for each month will be posted to the website, and in the Secretarys office during the fair!

  • PIE EATING CONTEST: Tuesday August 9 at 1:30 PM in the radio One Showcase Tent
  • CROP CREATIONS:  Thursday August 11 at 1:00 PM in Heritage Hall
  • PEDAL PULL: Thursday August 11 at 11:00 AM in the Radio One Showcase Tent
  • GOAT MILKING CONTEST: Thursday August 11 at 5:00 PM in the Goat/Poultry Barn (Contestants are invited to participate)
  • HOT DOG EATING CONTEST: Friday August 12 at 1:00 PM in the Radio One Showcase Tent
  • PAPER AIRPLANE CONTEST: Friday August 12 at 3:30 PM in the Radio One Showcase Tent
  • FROG JUMP CONTEST: Saturday August 13 at 10:00 AM in the Special Activities Area
