and our food supply.
Kids Contests you can enter at the Fair
- Hot Wheels Racing, Friday, Aug 1 registration at 11 AM and 1:30 PM,
Races at 12 Noon and 2:30 PM
- Bean Spitting Contest, Saturday, Aug 2 at 1:00 PM, see who can
launch a bean the farthest!
- Zucchini Zoo:, Sunday, Aug 3 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM in
the Agriculture Building. Build an animal out of a
Zucchini.
- Crop Creations, Thursday, Aug 7 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM,
Agriculture Building. Make your favorite anything out of farm
crops.
- Hot Dog Eating Contest
Thursday, Aug 7 at 3:30 PM, Showcase
Tent. First to eat 3 hotdogs wins!
- Paper Airplane Contest, Friday, Aug 8 at 3:00 PM, Showcase
Tent. Orville and Wilbur never had a chance like this.
- Pedal Pull, Thursday Aug 7 at 11:00 AM, Showcase Tent. Pullers
go for the Full Pull, just like the big boys.
- Frog Jump, Saturday Aug 9 at 10 AM. Hippity Hop on over to the
area east of the Grange Cafeteria!
COLORING CONTEST 
The coloring contest is underway! Click on your age group
below,
and a picture will download in a PDF (Adobe Acrobat File) Print the
picture and color it. Be sure to fill in your name and address on
the bottom, and mail it in to the Lake County Fair before the end of the
month. One winner from each age group will be chosen for the months
of May, June and July. Winners will be displayed in the Fair office
and ribbons will be awarded along with other prizes...GOOD LUCK!
