The Lake County Agricultural Society will take every precaution to protect patrons, exhibitors, exhibits, and /or animals. However, we will not be liable for the safety of exhibits, animals, exhibitors, employees, families or patrons. Nor will we be liable for losses or damages sustained due to vandalism, theft, weather, fire, accidents, or any other cause. Exhibitors or patrons wishing to insure themselves, their belongings, or their livestock may do so at their own expense.

Alcohol, Firearms, and any animal not being exhibited or acting as a service animal, is prohibited.

Since 1852 the Lake County Agricultural Society, Inc. has presented the Lake County Fair for the promotion of agriculture in Lake County. Over the years the fair has grown to include may other aspects of family life in Lake County.

We are proud to once again present to you the 2013 Lake County Fair!

PEPSI FAMILY VALUE DAY - Tuesday, August 6th - Receive one afternoon wristband for 150 empty Pepsi or Crush product 12 oz. cans. Bring your cans to the Lions Pavilion between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, limit one per person. (Wristband good from 12 Noon - 5:00 PM)

Admission & Parking / Hours

Adults: $4.00
Children ages 9-12: $2.00
Children 8 and under Free
Admission is free before 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday
Parking on the Fairgrounds is $4.00
Parking and Shuttle are FREE at Crown Point High School from 12 Noon till closing
The admission gates open at 9:00 AM
Exhibit buildings open at 10:00 AM,
Industrial Building opens at 10:00 a.m. everyday except Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - when it opens at 12 Noon
Carnival rides start at 12:00 Noon

Tips for a more enjoyable fair experience:

Be sure to bring along any medication you may need.

Drink plenty of water if it is hot.

Wear comfortable walking shoes, sandals or flip-flops are not recommended.

There are hand washing stations and sanitizing stations around the fairgrounds, but you may want to bring your own hand sanitizer or wet wipes with you.

Take breaks and rest between activities, there are plenty of benches and picnic tables on the fairgrounds.

Do not take food items into the animal barns, for your health and the animals.

Please do not bring your pets. The exhibit animals or other animals may react unfavorably to them.

Watch your children around the farm animals, they may not understand that these animals are not pets.
