Fair Admission & Hours

 

Adults: $4.00

Children ages 9-12: $2.00

Children 8 and under Free

Admission is free before 3:00 PM  Monday through Thursday

Parking on the Fairgrounds is $4.00

Parking and Shuttle are FREE at Crown Point High School

The gates open at 9:00  AM

Exhibit buildings open at 10:00 AM,

Industrial Building opens at 10:00 a.m. everyday except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - when it opens at 12 Noon

Carnival rides start at 12:00 Noon

Hi, I'm Bea, Your mascot for the 2012 Lake County Fair. (See my story here)

See what the BUZZ is all about.  Since 1852, the Lake County Agricultural Society has brought the Lake County Fair to Crown Point.  This year, we have been busy as BEES, and we have a great line-up of family entertainment, shows and activities planned.  We hope you will come to join us. 

While you're visiting our website, take a look and the pictures and videos, and you will see that this is one HONEY of an event.

Our website contains a great deal of  information, arranged in 2 major groups; The top menu is administrative, about the fair operation, advertisers and website.

The Main Menu on the left contains information about the fair itself, events, entry forms, prices,  and many other items of interest.

For Your Safety

Please do not bring your pet to the fair.  Farm animals and horses may by spooked by them, and often times your pet may be injured.  Please do not ride bicycles, scooters, skate boards or rollerblades on the fairgrounds.  Be mindful that farm animals, while looking very tame, may sometimes bite or kick.  Watch small children while in or around the animal barns and horse arena.

Please wash your hands after visiting the animal barns, and do not take food items into the barns.

The Lake County Agricultural Society, Inc. will take every precaution to protect patrons, exhibitors, exhibits and/or animals.  However, we will not be liable for the safety of exhibits, animals, exhibitors, employees, families, or patrons, nor will we be liable for damage sustained due to vandalism, theft, weather, fire, accidents or any other cause.  Exhibitors or patrons wishing to insure themselves, their belongings, or their livestock may do so at their own expense.
